My story

I'm Simon, originally from Perth, now based at Maroubra Beach in Sydney. With over 10 years of experience in the waste industry across Australia and Europe, I bring a deep understanding of the challenges faced by the waste industry. I hold a Master's degree in Sustainable Development and have worked with or consulted for a range of the largest and mid-tier companies in the waste management sector.

Five years ago, I was working as a waste auditor and I noticed a common problem: waste contractors were struggling to produce consistent, auditable reports - especially on Green Star projects. Determined to find a solution, I founded Traste.
